We have authors, carvers, rosemaler and hardanger demonstrations starting at 9.30 or so....door prizes and Grand Prize is a Norwegian sweater! Sampling lefse, krumkake and almond cake and hot beef sandwich for lunch! Glogg has arrived so there will be sampling of this traditional Christmas drink! Live music to enjoy also. Come one and all, its a party!!

The Westby Syttende Mai Board and the residents of Westby welcome you to our city and to celebrate our Syttende Mai that commemorates Norway's Constitution Day.  Strong ties to Norway still exists since the first official Norwegian settler laid his eyes on the prairie once called Coon. Family and tradition hold special meaning in this primarily Norwegian community.
